This is an unremarkable recording that was done on what looks to be a handheld camera. It is a "very" historic piece of Journey in that this would be the last time that
Steve Perry would appear in a live concert as a member of Journey.
He of course would go on to do his FTLOSM 94' Shows and went into the studio to record TBF w/Journey (Released in Oct 96') did videos but never toured live for that album.
Many probably have this on DVD already (Either the Bill Graham Memorial Show w/Grateful Dead, Santana,
Los Lobos, Ect.) or where it was added to a Japan concert from 81'/83'? that is in circulation. It wasn't practical for me to post a DVD here so this is an AVI copy of the show. But if you haven't seen it, you should watch it.
It's actually a sad piece as on Lights he's pleading to the audience (a San Francisco audience) to sing along.... and.... they really aren't..... a somber crowd and not really a Journey crowd. Makes me think that the 94' FTLOSM Tour took shape from his disappointment in SF in late 91'. (Do the fans still exist, or care?) Well.... we care!!
