Journey show from Dallas in 2005. This show was professionally recorded with high definition cameras for a TV special/DVD that never was aired or released. I have a feeling the reason has to do with the departure of Steve Augeri. He was still singing for Journey at this time.
A great friend and I arrived at the theatre early and tried recording the soundcheck. On the 2005 "30th Anniversary Tour", we tried making all shows in Texas. We made the Austin and San Antonio shows, and as we were getting ready to go from San Antonio to Houston, Hurricane Rita (or tornado as Neal calls it in this show) cancelled the event. So after going to the Dallas show we waited until November 05, 2005 (a day short of the 24 year anniversary of the 11/6/81 famous Houston Summit show we all "officially" have now) to see Journey in Houston. We recorded the soundcheck from each show except the Houston one. But there must’ve been some sort of curse on us getting the soundchecks recorded
Each of the 3 shows we recorded soundchecks from had some sort of issue that only caught parts (not much) of the soundchecks. Still, a little extra on each CD is better than no soundcheck at all. I will upload al of these shows eventually!
Anyhow, coming back to the show at hand, here is the information on the Dallas 2005 show:

Note: During "Of A Lifetime" we had to change seats and there is some chatter, security guard, etc "interference". But once we got moved, all becomes better. By "I'm Gonna Leave You" we're at the right seats. I like the first seating's sound better. But the second location is good too.
