Back when this PPV was broadcast, a friend of mine recorded it onto VHS. He loaned me his masters last year.

The Ozzy set is smoking.

I have to laugh at the Bulletboys. They got booed. BAD.

At the end of their set, they were so mad they threw the drums off the riser, and the guitarist just threw his Les Paul onto the stage and stomped off....leaving the guitar to feed back, and Marq Torien gave the crowd the finger.

Seeing that was comical. Pooor widdul babies.

Made me glad I never saw them live.

But that is just my opinion.

In between the BB set and the Ozzy set, they showed some videos of warped kinda claymation stuff, and other things that were similar to stuff you woulda seen on the 80s late-nite show Night Flight.

After Ozzy's set, the two "emcees" (a guy and some blonde chick) interview a bunch of fans, and then for some reason they show a Vixen video.

So I have the entire thing from start to finish.

Now if only I had broadband, I could upload the thing too.

Oh well.

To be honest, there were a lot of people cheering for them, but not even enough to drown out the boos. Bulletboys tried hard, and they did not appear to make any mistakes.

First time I watched it I wondered why the crowd was booing after the first song. By the end of the set I realized why.

1. The crowd wanted to see Ozzy, and
2. Watching the set, I realized the band had no substance. Guitarist played a bunch of rubbish. Chord progressions were just a bunch of typical cliches. And of course Marq was trying to hard to be the typical 80s hair-metal clone of David Lee Roth. Nothing truly unique about them. As a result, they were not able to turn in an exciting enough performance to win over the whole crowd.
Including yours truly. I don't mean to offend anyone here who truly digs them, but in my book, the performance was just a piece of rock and roll comedy.

Musta sucked being them that night.

But as all you musicians know, you can't win them all. I have had my fair share of gigs where the audience was not into my band's performance.

Life goes on....
