Paul Gilbert, he is an awesome player, with a great self-drepracating sense of humor. Have you seen the one where he does Fly Me To The Moon? Just like Frank.

Nice video, what's the name of the song with the double pane of him playing 2 different guitars (or the bulk of this video)?
THanks

Are We Sitting Comfortably?

Young Paulo's clearly got far too many fingers! I don't think my whole arm is as long as his index - wierd!

I do think he rather missed the feel though, Comfortably Numb just doesn't work as shred. Or maybe it was just an impressive piss take!

My favourite Paul bit is the intro to "Green Tinted Sixties Mind" a very special tune, that he makes look so flash live.

I saw Mr Big a (long) while ago in a tiny theatre in Birmingham holding about three hundred, promoting the "Lean into It" album. Someone must have miscalculated as the tickets sold in seconds - before the release of the "To Be With You" single too. They had a PA more suited to a Hammy Odeon sized venue so it was deafening, they could have done the show with just back line! One of the best shows I've ever seen, full of humour, impressive music and a real sense of occasion. Billy was really impressive too, an amzing bass solo.

Technical Difficulties is the double guitar track you're talking about.

Thanks to whoever posted this. "Paulo Gilberto" is awesome! I never get tired of listening to that dude rip it up.

He might want to work on cleaning up his picking technique a little though.

I think there are schools for that!
