What is the deeper meaning of private blogs, who are these friends who have access and how they get it ????? Why spend a lot of time creating a blog, and then "closing" it.
There are many super Elvis blog online, so why private ??????

I get a feeling this blog has been taken down rather than just open to private invitation.I have seen this screen before when Google have shut a blog site down due to copyright infringement or receiving a complaint over material.Of course the owner could have just deleted it too.

I've only ever seen the "Blog has been removed" page after a blog has been shut down (see Angel Presley's site at the moment - I suspect she's experienced the wrath of Tunzi

)

Apart from the obvious reason the private invitation page does also appear when the owner has taken it off-line for a maintainance - such as when Elvisito was changing the format of his site.
