It was.
Now, some of the romantic details accompanying the pics above are not at all accurate. The bedrooms at G-land are pretty much storage rooms at this point. The socks, scarves and gloves have been long pillaged and whatever has any value to EPE is kept down the road at a storage warehouse. Sheets with dead skin cells and hanging towels are long gone.

As to the 'romantic' comments, these pictures were to illustrate the state of the room while Elvis lived there. Since then the family ghas pretty much screwed up all the nostalga of it.

Rare photo of the office of EP in the first floor of Graceland.
Taken in 1981.
Most of the objects of this office are placed for the permanent exhibition to the museum downstairs.
We can see them here in their original context.
A the bottom of the office the window which looks onto the garden of the meditations. To the right of this office is the bedroom of Elvis Presley.
