TTWII 7/14-7/15 Rehearsals Question

According to Keith Flynn's page http://www.keithflynn.com/essential_...Rehearsals.htm , Polk Salad Annie from 7-14 and How the Web was woven from 7-15 should be on International Heatwave and Get Down and Get With It, respectively. However I have both bootlegs, and Polk Salad Annie is not on International Heatwave and I cannot recognize How The Web Was Woven on Get Down and Get With It. Does anyone know where these performances can be found? Polk Salad Annie is listed as running 1:35+ and How the Web Was Woven at 2:18.
One other brief question, does anyone have the unedited audience walk portion from the 8/12/70 MS? The same page lists it as being complete on "TTWII Complete Works (Free Internet Download)".
For those interested once I can fill in these brief gaps, I will be able to post my completed version of That's The Way It Is. Thanks In advance for the help!

This is a rip from my copy of the TTWII complete works set of Polk Salad Annie from July 14, 1970. As of now that's all there is. If we're lucky RCA has some more on their tapes but I wouldn't bet on it as the July 14 rehearsal was mainly used for equipment setup & check.

Polk Salad Annie (70-07-14): http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M6RAVL2U

How the Web was woven (70-07-15): http://www.megaupload.com/?d=H0MSNTJ2

"How the Web was woven" is taken from "Get down & dirty" as this is slightly better than "Get down and get with it". However Elvis is still off-mic and only with really good ears you can hear his voice bleeding in at some points. Still there is hope that RCA may have achieved better recordings (I'd like to remind you of the surprising find of 'Ghost Riders in the Sky' which had Elvis vocal intact!).

"Get down and get with it" used the same source as "Get down & dirty". It is a tape that Ger Rijff had in his possession (along with all the other stuff that we all came to love from good ol' Fort Baxter, Bilko, 2001 a.s.o.)
You have to know and understand two things regarding the old classic releases:
first of Ger never really was much of a 70es Elvis fan. He just loves "The Rockin' Rebel" (remember that title - also one of the classic original vinyl bootlegs Ger had his hands into).
Most of the material that has been released since the start of "Just pretend" is material that Ger got hold of when he was in New York together with Ernst Jorgensen back in 1989 (? not too sure it was 89 as of now). He either made some handy tape copies of what they found during their search of the RCA vaults or got them through his connections to the inner Elvis circle (Joe Esposito was one of the usual sources for soundboard tapes).
When he got back to Europe he decided to make available what he had in his hands and we lucky fans were treated with a sheer endless flow of never before heard soundboard recordings all through the nineties.
Secondly, back in those days a bootlegger usually didn't have all the technical possibilities we have today, i.e. no high-end computer equipment with professional or semi-professional software to enhance your sources in just one click.
It was really hard work and you had to rely on studios who would rent their mixing facilities - and you can probably imagine how tricky it was to rent a studio with your illegal copy of Elvis tapes...
Nevertheless Ger back then made the decision to cut some of the material which he personally thought of as uninteresting - or as in the case with "Get down and get with it" where he thought the tape simply wasn't worth a second CD and the extra costs involved in such a project.
He also made the decision to have the binaural recordings properly mixed down to mono. Some of you might not agree with this decision but in most cases the old old Fort Baxter mono mixes sound way better than the new releases of the same material in binaural. A good example for this is the Birmingham show which just plainly sucked on all the new releases with the only exception being the FTD mix - I still do prefer the original "Burning in Birmingham" though...but this is a matter of personal taste of course. (A second example would be the Cincinnati show from March 21, 1976 which had a lot more punch to it on the original DAE release "Holding back the years" compared to the binaural Madison release "A new kind of Rhythm).
To finally come to a close: most all of the soundboard and studio recordings you have in your hands today became available through Ger - that is also true for most re-releases and especially the ones from Gravel Road who expressively stated that they collaborated with "ol' Fort Baxter" (Ger).
So even though you may not like the sound of what was released back then today I hope you do respect these releases.

hawkprather, I would love to hear any 1957 concerts that might exist. Keith Flynn lists several that were recorded but remain unreleased, save for a few fragments.

Keith is anything but selfish! He has done so much for Elvis collectors with the tremendous body of work that is his freely available sessionography. If you think Keith is selfish just because he has taken the audio part of his website offline than you are completely mistaken.
Keith had lots and lots of really rare stuff posted on the audio proportion of his website (one example being the soundboard recording of "I couldn't live without you") and some people decided to make money from it. They simply ripped his audio files and sold them on various bootleg releases.
Keith was really pissed by that and after that had been repeated two times he simply decided to call it a day.
Now you can go and call these guys whatever you like but I will not accept anyone blaming Keith of anything.

Keith has stated many times and over that 'unreleased' does not necessarily mean that a tape does even exist. He simply lists info on concerts where available. With the exception of only very, very few concerts nobody knows what has or hasn't been recorded. 'Unreleased' in his lists simply means that this material is not available on any circulating recording.
So you shouldn't expect to hear any of these things at any point in the near or even far future.
There are some exceptions of course. Ernst has long been negotiating about one of the tour shows from 1957 but wasn't willing and able to pay the price asked. Furthermore the recording of that show is of pretty poor audio quality and will hardly earn Sony what they have to pay for it.
We all can look forward to some pretty cool soundboard recordings that will surface within in the coming months. Despite that we have lots and lots of audience recordings - quite a good number of them in pretty decent sound - to enjoy (I myself have way over 600 in my collection and have hardly heard them all yet) so there is no need to grumble over what we don't have. Most of what is available will be released at some point anyhow - no need to grumble guys.
