A little something different....alrighty then...pretty cool place fellas, I like it.
this little clips is me goofing around on my still fairly new Gretsch Tennessee Rose. I'm as big a Chet Atkins fan as I am of VH, and frankly I can play the finger pickin' stuff better than I can the rock & roll anyway, it might be interesting to listen to. |

Very nice tune, and very, very sweet tone. Like the reverb too! I like the second tune as well. |

Re: A little something different....Hey TNVHFAN - nice to see you man. That's great stuff, bro - I like listening to good fingerpicking myself, and it's one thing I want to get back to working on in my own repertoire.
LOVED it! |

Re: A little something different....Thanks for the compliments....I really enjoy that style of playing.
Perhaps I can find something with a little more bite to it... |

Re: A little something different....All I have to say is the next time I visit my sister in Nashville, we should hook up and window-shop(drool) at Gruhn's and some other places.

Re: A little something different....thought i may as well copy what i wrote accidently in the other thread
i love this stuff i always loved this fingerpinking stuff great work ... the only slight thing i would say is work a little bit on getting a good balance in volume between melody and bass accomp much easier said than done !... i dunno whether it was just my headphones but the bass came through a bit much ... i love the last 30 seconds this stuff always amazes me i wish i ahd more time to sit down and work on stuff like this . i used to love playing it but it's great |

Re: A little something different....Fantastic little groove.
I've always loved listening to this kind of stuff. I've always found it a little too difficult to master myself though, which is why I'm always in awe of someone who can play it. Fantastic tunes. You play with such happy feeling. |
