Which kind of scale are you using here?

Re: alligator salsa

I hope I don't sound to dumb, but I'm self taught so I don't really know the names of all of the scales. I have been trying to learn them so forgive me if I use the wrong name. anyway, I started with the basic blues scale and tried to put in parts of the minor. I also tried to use some passing tones to give it a jazzy flavor. Did I use a bunch of bad notes?

As are a lot of guitar players including myself, I go by the "if it sounds right it is right method"

Re: alligator salsa

Then it really doesn'tmatter how you did it after all. I like whaht you did. It threw me off because I'm used to certain structures and I am a guitar geek. Please take no offense.!
