BLACK ROSE...'nother rare one "DEAD AND BURIED"
Pretty poor production but (at the tender age of 19) you can tell that we were listening to the same bands as Iron Maiden and Saxon! Not my fave track but very, very rare on the bootleg forums.

very very catchy riff , goes from Maiden to Sabbath , then into Maiden again , i love these early tracks , accents galore , drumming is frantic , malla is superb ! , on my little speakers it comes over not to bad . was this done at Gateshead ? . i like the lighter waving section at 03.16 , Steve sounds like a young biff . was this your Ibanez iceman dude , bags of distortion on it , comes over well tho . Another little gem from the Wah Wah archives .

Pounding, driving rock. Great stuff. Production sounds great to me. Absolutely love the drumming !
A real blast from the past. Very Maiden-ish ! What a compliment, eh ?

Another cracking tune. It's hard to think why you's ween't given a chance and got that big signing. This song is one of the best songs by Black Rose that you have posted so far. Love them riffs.

Wow! Never thought this one would get much creedence...ask any of the guys that recorded it which song sucked most in the 6 years I was there and this one would come out Top 3 easily. It was recorded at some studio in Sunderland...we nicknamed it Newboulds as it was like a butchers! (Northern joke there!). The best thing I remember was the piss-up the night before. We drove up in the bus we had and went out on the town. I had a pair of cowboy boots my mate Craig Ellis gave me that he'd bought in Thailand. They were size 7 and I was size 9! We came back drunk and my feet had swelled up so I couldn't get the fuckers off!
We thought we'd parked somewhere outside Sunderland as the place was deserted when we parked up. Next morning Malla is dying for a whizz so takes a huge horse-like piss in a saucepan from the ''kitchen area'' (where we made toasties!). He opens the door in his undercrackers and empties this saucepan of piss into the middle of a big fucking market with all these Grannies eyes popping out of their heads! How we laughed after the Police had left!
Besides that, I don't hold too many good memories of this session at all. It was recorded in 1982. Thanks for all the comments. Been away on holiday. It pissed down for the whole week.
