Burning Bridges - A kinda new song sort of

Here's "Burning Bridges," from my album two years ago, "Shades of Grey."

So why am I bothering you with this track now, after I've gotten two other albums out? Um...kind of a long story, but in short, *I'm* NOT. My...um...friend-who-is-a-girl (you put 'em together) pulled out this CD a couple of weeks ago and started listening to it. She insists that it's a great record, although I sure would like to re-mix it now that I know a little more about that mixing business.

Anyway, she's been listening to it and she's of course heard me listen to (and rave about) the tracks I've downloaded from this site and she said I have to start uploading some of my original stuff, not just the covers i've done. I told her, "you're not the boss of me," but that cut zero ice with her as it turned out, so here you go.

This is the first original track I've uploaded here, so please don't hurt me too bad. I told her I wasn't going to apologize for how badly it's mixed, so I guess I can't say that either. If you like it I'll upload a track or two that *I* really like next, and if you like them I'll even send you the CD, if you want...
