The backing track is definitely Floyd, but your solo doesn't necessarily sound like Gilmour. You've definitely got your own groove, voicing, tone and a lot of licks that are just extreme and punchy. Sweet recording!!

Thanks zeppy, rain and ksdb. If you like blues, it's one of the easiest backings to really lose yourself in and the fact that it's a minor key means it sounds nice and dreamy as well.
Thanks for listening.

Great feeling here, really liked you tone, that PODxt is working well for you Like the sense of touch and vibrato on the notes.

Yeah, I can't complain about the Line6 at all...except that I don't really get into deep editing with it but thats just laziness on my behalf. I'd like to spend some time and find 5 tones which covered all the bases. I have my metal one, my 'Eddie' one, my 'Gary Moore- Thin Lizzy' one but I'm looking for a deep rich chorus like the beginning of Dream Theater 'Pull Me Under' and also a SRV tone that works.
Thanks for listening.

Great Blues playing
This is my first time getting around to checking the original tunes. This is some bad ass blues you played on this one.

Sweet Very nice emotive playing, great bends and nuances and nice work on the volume pot. Appreciate the restraint in not going overboard with a bunch of tech stuff on this. This is a definite "feel" solo here.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the comments about the volume pot becuase I think you can make or break a solo with the pot..especially if you're wanting to keep things 'down' so to speak. This lets you find where things start to bite and keep it controlled.
Thanks for commenting and listening.
