this is my latest one that i did the other day ... it's far from finished ... i'm pretty frustrated cause i can't seem to lay down some solo parts atm it all sounds the same !
so i thought i'd post up the layout plan that i've done i've got a fair few plans for this song including using my mandolin on the recording ! (When i figure out the chords !)
i use a nylon string classical guitar that i used to use last year and my usual stuff
it cuts off real abruptly but don't worry about that i'm just interested in what you guys think of everything so far ...
i think i got a pretty fat tone out of my 5150 briefly too !
That's a unique song Stiglar and your style is really growing on me. I was wondering when we were going to get to hear some classical guitar since that is what you were trained on. This is a great mix of styles, keep it up and be sure to post the outcome
Sweet tone you have in the intro.
It gets really nice with the 5150 after that too.
I'd say your work in progress sounds much nicer than what I call work in progress.
Thanks for sharing.
Great song.
I really enjoyed this. It's hard to beat the tone of fingerstyle and nylon. Then the 5150 comes in with a very unique tone. I don't think it needs a solo.
Very beutiful work. And you call this work in progress.
It sounds like a song on the radio not so long back, but I just don't know the name of it, sorry. But it has serious undertones of it. I'll have to hum it to Jen to see if she knows which one I am on about.
But the 5150 tone fits really nicely, doesn't sound too out of place at all.
when i say work in progress i mean i have no idea what i'm going to do next with it ,
the way i record tunes is i do it perfectly one section at a time as opposed to just doing the whole thing and then perfecting little bits , so in other words i'm really happy with this section but i don't know what to do now lol
i'll have to have a think about it a bit more i guess !
thanks for the compliments though guys i love that intro too i dunno how i came up with it !
