Drained (Demo)

This is almost the first real song that I've completed. I know it sounds to get a bit boring cos of the song structure but it's more or less what I've accomplished. This one is using Digitech RP250 effects including the bass simulator ( I still don't have a bass guitar ).
I think I messed up the lead parts mostly getting out of tune and I think the solo is a bit down in the mix and I believe the tone sounds a bit too thin or trebley..... I actually played the first part out and copied and pasted the rest of it (I'm really that lazy to play the whole song).

Sounds good man! From what i remember when I first heard you you have made improvements! I think its good to listen back once you have finished a recording and pick out the points you could improve on like you have, then rerecord at a later date and see if you can eliminate those points. Thats what Ive been doing anyways. Keep it up man!

Alot of it will be just mixing. Sometimes its best to have the rythmn guitars a little bit quiet then double them. This site has some awesome tips that i found useful.
Good stuff!
