Heavier more guitars

Heavier side of my electronica/guitar stuff.

Pretty much old school dark shred with some wide intervals over industrial stuff.
Discharge

Used a baritone guitar for the rhythm stuff. Layers and layers of rhythm and leads. 8 guitars on this one.
Phase 4

Baritone guitar again for the rhythm. More effects than I have ever used for the rest of the stuff.
Cyborg

Re: Heavier more guitars

Sounds good Joy!

Would that be a Chandler Baritone guitar?

I know Paul Chandler of Chandler Guitars....he's a friend of mine.

His shop is up in Chico. When his shop was in the Bay Area he use to work on my guitars.

Man I loved this stuff. Fantastic to listen to. And yes, very inspirational.

So many influences there. Vai, Eddie, Satch, etc., etc...

To my ears anyway !

Loved it ! Thanx for sharing !

Thanx again. Ya all those guys were major influences. Jason Becker was also a big influence. I think I listened to Perpetual Burn and the Cocaphony CDs when I woke up and went to bed almost everyday for almost a year. Seven Below Stress was really influenced by Becker.

Re: Heavier more guitars

Discharge sounds indeed a bit weird to me, but totally under control. Good match with the background industrial stuff.
Sounds to like a combination of "Engines of Creation/Satch" and a bit Cacophony indeed, but with extra wide intervals.

Of Phase4 I liked the 2nd half the most. Sounds like you eventide a lot, but it could also be other effects.....

And you did again with Cyborg.... You paved my dark horizon with a little light in a musical area which would still be dark without you.

IMHO: It is unbelievable that you can make that music. I'm too narrow minded to put all that together.
I'm glad you posted these samples here. You did a good job. And if you manage to attrack a lot of those dance people to interesting guitar music then your mission is succeeded!!
