**Hey Rockers! Roy Here With A Lil' Tune For Ya**
.
'
´
****
* * * T H E . S I G N S * * *
* * * * *
*
*
*
This tune is a collab between me and my buddy Derek Springer from the States!
Derek Springer: Drums, Bass, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar
Roy Bratbakken: Vocals, Bass, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar
.
.
.
Derek had the riff-idea and came up with drums, bass and rhythm guitars.
I doubled his bass and rhythm guitars and wrote lyrics and melody and arranged it.
Then we shared lead, and I decorated it a bit, and then I did some screamin'!
Derek played some lead guitar (02:24 - 02:48)
Then I played some lead guitar (02:49 - 03:34)
Derek Played some more lead guitar (03:35 - 03:52)
And then I played another little piece of lead(03:53 - 04:11)
.
.
.
(Apart from that..... I did the intro.....
...Derek did the "delay-guitar" that runs through the whole tune...
...I did some fill-in's here and there and used an empty beer-glass for the slide-outro.
We had an awful lotta fun with this tune, both writing and recording it.
We did however have a few sound-issues, but we tried to smooth it out as best we could!)
Hope some of you nice folks in here enjoy the tune!
We sure had a great time making it!
* * * * * * * *
ALSO:
J-Mart, RjFoster, Ksdb, Carlos, Goport and sgstd... ...please be patient...
Cheers,
Roy

You really do have one of the most powerful voices I have heard for a long time. You and Derek have done a great job here. This is definately more guitar heavy than your usual stuff. Needless to say it is excellent. I really do prefer your leads but that is because I like the melodic nature of your style, and no disrespect to Mr Springer who is obviously a talented bloke.
This is great Roy. I love the little leaning towards Led Zep with the rhythm riff too. Classic

Great stuff mate...very brooding...loved the way the guitars are panned thruout the mix. Bridge/chorus has a great hook with the harmonies going. Great stuff from you and your mate.

Man Roy, this is a keeper for sure. Really, really good guitar playing and great original composition. Vocals sounded a bit like Chris Cornell from the early Soundgarden albums (like "Louder Than Love"). I can't comment on the production/sound quality, as I forgot to bring my good headphone to work and am listening to this on some super-cheap headphones which I'm sure are diluting the power of this recording. I'll have to check this one out again when I get home and put on my good headphones. But even through the cheap phones, it still sounds good. Excellent post.

Hey, kc_artist_rocker!
Thx, man!!
We had some sound-trouble, but I tried to smooth it out in the mix.
And I dig Cornell! Did ya hear the new Audioslave-cd? Rocks pretty good!

Wow...very powerful tune!! I'd really like to hear it with a studio mix. The vocals blew me away!! I'd love to collaborate with you. Had a Soundgarden meets Zep or Whitesnake feel to it, or maybe even a heavy Deep Purple groove to it. Definitely one to listen to. If you're interested in a re-mix, let me know!

Sh*t, dude..I'm frickin enthralled by this tune. Talk about a hook to go with it. I had to reply again. Great song. Such energy, and I'm telling ya, this one is one that I could market here on the West coast.

Man, you guys are discusting! This stuff is so good that I feel Roy could be singing side-by-side with people like Dio and Jorn Lande and wouldn't sound out of place.
I'm not trying to blow smoke up your ass, Roy. I mean it!
Superior composition skills and musicianship on this tune.
