I had to show up sooner or later, right?Hey everyone!
I figured my first post might as well be in here. I'm not going to bother with uploading mp3s here, since you can already download and stream them from http://www.vhvault.com/~maya/demos I have 30-some demos there, several years' worth of messing around with a keyboard, and I certainly don't expect anyone to download or listen to or enjoy ALL of them. But if you're interested in.... Pop, studio, slick, processed vocals: "Like Home" "Almost Imaginary" Musical theater/cast recordings, full orchestra and chorus: "The Page Unwritten" "The Places You'll Go" Lo-fi songwriter chick with a piano and a tape recorder: "In Search Of A Next Time" "Everything Changes" "Crazy Place" Electronica, instrumental, fun with Pro Tools: "Dali" "Permanent Charade" For Halen nuts only: "VH Synth Medley" (can you pick out all the songs here?) "Show Me Why" (this was written about a VH tribute band guitarist) "When It's Really Love" (rips off "Mine All Mine") "Who Will I See" (written about Eddie) Have fun |

Re: I had to show up sooner or later, right?Hi LS, long time no see I figured you would make it over eventually, welcome I listened to a few of these and that Page Unwritten is really something, sounds like a ton of work went into that, what a production and the vocals are great! Thanks for sharing these.

Re: I had to show up sooner or later, right? Thanks Eric!
I wrote the music for "Page," but I should point out that the vocals are NOT me (hell no!), but an amazing young opera singer by the name of Janette Zilioli. That was THE FIRST take, too. She rocks... |

Re: I had to show up sooner or later, right?Hey Maya - Good to see ya! And yes, you were bound to make it over at some point.
I've listened to your stuff many times, since I've been aware of your site for 3 years now - always nice to go back and listen some more. I particularly like your instrumental tracks, since I love to hear layered keyboards. Good to have another keyboardist here - that makes 3 or 4 of you now and I hope we'll see some good discussions on keys going soon. |

I started listening to some of your gs, and I am mighty impressed. There is some great playing and great production there ! Thank you for sharing. I have enjoyed what I have heard so far, but I'm going to give it all a listen. Very enjoyable so far though ! |
