Re: kinda heavy , but maybe you guys ll like.
The guitar work was great - I liked the heavy feel and sound of it. Honestly though, I didn't care for the singing - too Limp Bizkity for me. But, WTF do I know?
Thanks for sharing - great work!

Re: kinda heavy , but maybe you guys ll like.
The actual music was by no means too heavy for me. I really enjoyed it. The guitar was great !
The only thing is, that I cannot stand this kind of singing ! It makes my brain hurt ! Maybe I'm just getting old !
However, I can see how it fits in with the mood of the song, it's just a shame that I don't particularly take a liking to it.
But thanks for sharing the guitar work, some great work there !

Re: kinda heavy , but maybe you guys ll like.
i understand. this is more of a project the singer asked us to help him on as a fun thing. i threw it up there for people to hear the music. i understand its not everyones fav style ,it just happens to be what im playing with at the moment. like i said the critisism has been very constructive and civil so thank you for listening. btw dont worry ill have some vh stuff up too latr.

Dude I really enjoyed this and understand it wasn't a perfectly mixed recording, most of our stuff here isn't either. Look forward to hearing the VH stuff dude

I have to admit that the rap part really makes this song Rick, the guitar and melody line really work here. This is one that will have me humming it out all day.

Re: kinda heavy , but maybe you guys ll like.
Eric, wip5150 and mondola just said it:
Nice guitar work, but I'm not too much into this singing work, but it reminded me of some band I saw back in the 80s at the Dynamo Open Air festival in the Netherlands.....
It is not too heavy. I can handle that.... LOL
At "between the lines" I noticed that the volume drops a bit around 3:10. And a bit earlier it looks like it is clipping ("never"...."never"....)....
For the rest the mix is oke in my ears.....
The second song has a good mix. Nothing to say about that. And like Eric said the song and the rap really combines excellent.
But my old and poor developped mind is not so rappy..... I liked the guitarwork, which was real solid underneath it. Good playing anyway.

Re: kinda heavy , but maybe you guys ll like.
I'll go with what everybody else has said, Rick - great axe work, but not crazy about the vocals.
You've obviously explained that part though.
