Re: Late Nite Traffic
Great song YYZ, man your tone is just awesome and the wah seems to fit the tune well. Also the lead work is really tasty and not overdone. The only drawback IMO is the drum beat, seems a little busy on the snare.

Re: Late Nite Traffic
I almost always use either a backing track or drum loops for Cool Edit. I don't like messing with them so I just get a basic beat that I like, set the tempo and then go which is why my drum tracks are always basic and boring
I just sold my Roland kit, I used that for some of my tunes but just couldn't get back into the drum thing so I am now back to loops and backing tracks.

Re: Late Nite Traffic
Thanks EricGtr...On my Soundcard, there is a daughterboard, all my Drum sounds are internal, there is a chip of some sort with synth sounds, drum samples, etc...I can use my keyboard on my PC, to get a drum pattern going, quantise, etc...MIDI can be confusing...trial and error...thanks for sharing your techniques on drums & loops !

Re: Late Nite Traffic
Nice playing as always! How's your cd doing? Saw the ad un the musicstop flyer. I remember you from high-school in real world, last time i saw you, u were playing smoothies about 10 years ago (after real world)! You probably don't remember me (or even know me for that matter!), I was a couple years ahead of you. Good to see a caper doing what he loves for a living.
