My new Buckethead inspired tune

Hi Guys,

Just completed a song which drew on my BucketHead influences and chromatic ideas. I'm also a keyboardist and spend time at the Jordan Rudess website where a fellow keyboardist there wrote a cool atmospheric tune with this synths. I jammed with it and came up with some guitar parts and added some samples for atmos and the result is a fairly weird and interesting tune. See what you guys think. Its about 5mins long.

Axiom is the guy who wrote the original synth track....

Hey Roy,

Thanks very much for checking it out. I doubt this is everyone's taste but I certainly wanted to get some weird chromatic stuff going on so looks like I did. I was sort of influenced by the electronic type of stuff that Buckethead does which I hated at first but has grown on me...thanks for your comments bud.

pretty bizarre and creative stuff . some cool tones and weird noises . mixed well too . definately would be better suited to a film , since theres a lack of any real change throughout . but pretty creative and i like the tones and synthy sounds . wtg!

Hey WWFII & Dannyboy, Thanks very much for checking it out. It is a bit of a weird one, The original song was like a synth bed of weird noises and a little electronica beat loop which a guy from the Jordan Rudess forum did and I added just the distorted guitars so was a bit of a collaboration. The tune without the guitars didn't have any structure scale wise which allowed me to make up different chromatic and scale shape ideas which sort of fits well. I also added the vocal samples of HAL (from 2001 space oddessey) as this tune reminded me of an out of control computer mind, and did all the mixing and stuff within sony vegas (which is pretty cool).

Thanks again dudes....
