New keyboard sequence
Here's the first tune I've come up with on the Korg that I recently bought. It's all sequenced and done by hand, there is no guitar so feel free to use it for a backing track if you want.

Re: New keyboard sequence
Very cool tune. If I knew how to play, I would.

Re: New keyboard sequence
Musically good. Nice layering and composition, but I just don't connect with the main tone of the keyboard.
I know you and how you play, and feel that you may have chosen a patch that lacks character, if you know what I mean.
Don't mean to be hard on you, but I wouldn't want to blow smoke up yer fanny either...

Re: New keyboard sequence
I know what you mean, I didn't really select my patches too wisely there are so many of them! After listening again it sounds like a soudtrack for a cheesy 80's movie
It's also that I am still really new to the keyboard and it's not easy for me, it may just not be my thing. It's fun to play with the effects though.

Re: New keyboard sequence
I'm glad we agree on the tone...
Still, you're getting to know the beast.
I'm sure you can come up with something that's going to kick our asses. I really loved the Piano thing you did a while ago and that used as backign track. That was monumentally good!

Re: New keyboard sequence
I think that this is kinda cool. I dinked with it a little, but my dang recording software is crashing like crazy, so I gave up after adding stuff to the very beginning. Anyone else wanna finish what Eric started and I added to?

Re: New keyboard sequence
I wonder if it's this specific recording that's crashing your recording software? I will pop the mp3 back into CoolEdit when I get home and see if it does it to me too

Re: New keyboard sequence
Nah, it is my system. It crashes with Cool Edit and it won't even run Sonar. I really does not bother me too much since I never planned on recording with this one, but when I just wanna mess around like this it does get irritating. Nonetheless, you file is fine.

Re: New keyboard sequence
Great Trip! Love the ringing chords in the background and the harmony solos add a lot of spice, thanks for posting it up. This totally changes the whole sound of the song which I think is really cool.

Re: New keyboard sequence
Nice Stiglar, you totally did something different with it. When it went into the mellow part I was taken back for a second at what you put over it, very stylish dude.
