Producing?

Ok, Our band (Sidewinder) is coming out with a CD in the Summer of 2006. I want to ask Guitarist and Producers on this site to help out with one of our tunes that lacks something. It is finished but I'm not that happy with it. Don't get me wrong It is an alright tune but it's just that I think it could use alittle something extra to give it an edge. I've uploaded it here for download without the guitar solos. The solo is fine that I wrote for the tune. What I'm looking for is extras to put in the song. Please help us out. I know there are alot of great musicans here on 101 that can help. The Solo starts at 3:02 and you'll know when it stops. I'm just mind stuck on this one as to what to add in between it all. I would like it if everyone can take a listen and record over it with some ideas. Then post it here and I'll check out what ya got. After a few weeks of listening to your ideas for the song I will repost it with all the ideas that everyone comes up with and we'll see what the outcome is for Out Of The Loop!! I will also include your names on the CD when we finish it for all the help here on the 101.

You guys sound really good, very cool track, grooves nicely. It's not really clear what you mean by "looking for extras to put in the song". Extra what? People? If you could be more specific as to what your thinking it's lacking in there, it would be easier to get some opinions/ideas out of others. I think it sounds good

Why did you upload it without the solo?

What I mean is that I've listened to the song so many times that it just seems to lack something or am I just thinking into it too much?? It's like after you record a track and listen to it 20 or 30 times...you say...oh I should have done this or that...ya know what I mean?
I looking for opinions of what we could add to it to make it better than it is. I don't know maybe like some little riffs or signiture part when it goes into the chours or something like that?? I hope this clears things up a bit??!!
Hear is the song with the solo...I left the solo out in the first upload beacuse I wanted to see what others would have done.
