The feedback I have is just my personal openion and not of that of the forum so with that said my coment is that I consider the people on this forum to be serious minded musicians when it comes to music so for that reason alone I wont listen to your song if it was recorded with you being half baked and that is not a judgment from me to you on my part because I really apreteate your honesty abought your drug habbit but more abought me wasting my time listening to a tune that was recorded without a clear head.

So if you have some tunes that you recorded sober I would love to hear theem thanks for the post.

you gotta be kidding me...

*laughs*

*nods head*

just listen to it, than you can satisfy your self and fuel your ego by bashing me and pointing out mistakes and whatnot. atleast that would be a lil more constructive.

but no i dont consider my self a serious musician, i dont plan to strike fame or fortune.
to each their own.

Drugs: Just say know!

I applaud anyone who makes original art/music in their own way. Human history, particularly our musical, artistic and spiritual history, is a legacy intertwined with altered states of consciousness and awareness. What defines a clear mind? Opinions and perceptions certainly cloud minds just as much as anything else.

keep groovin' - peace

Music to me is not abought ego buddy but potential and I wish you did consider yourself a serious musician fame and fortune can be over rated any way im more intristed in quality of music and the mistake im trying to point out is that you dont need mind altering drugs to be creative in 99.9 % of cases it destroys your ability to play music so im not here to bash people but hopfull point theem in the right direction.

And playing sober would be a great start to geting the most out of your musical gift so I hope you take my coments to heart and at least think abought it.

Take care.

Here are a few adj that define clear mindedness.

1. Free from clouds, mist, or haze: a clear day.
2. Not obscured or darkened; bright: clear daylight; a clear yellow.
3. Easily seen through; transparent: clear water.
4. Free from flaw, blemish, or impurity: a clear, perfect diamond; a clear record with the police.
5. Free from impediment, obstruction, or hindrance; open: a clear view; a clear path to victory.
6. Plain or evident to the mind; unmistakable: a clear case of cheating.
7. Easily perceptible to the eye or ear; distinct.
8. Discerning or perceiving easily; keen: a clear mind.
9. Free from doubt or confusion; certain.
10. Free from qualification or limitation; absolute: a clear winner.
11. Free from guilt; untroubled: a clear conscience.
12. Having been freed from contact, proximity, or connection: At last we were clear of the danger. The ship was clear of the reef.
13. Free from charges or deductions; net: a clear profit.
14. Containing nothing.

And ill take openions and perseptions from clear minded individualls any day of the week if only to atleast listen too a clear perspective to make a judgment.

Well I gave you the benifit of the doubt and listen to it and the song has potential no pun intended and as i suspected it lacks a clear direction in the music also with no pun intended there is the makings for a great tune if you can organize the changes and group theem better away from the main melody to flow better other wise it starts sounding like your playing through the main melody all the way through.

And the keys I liked but thought thay may sound better if placed in the proper spot of the tune like for example.

Save the keys to open up in a phraze are a break in the song either wrighting the music were the guitar and keys are working together are the guitar drops out and the keys take the lead so thay dont clash.

But keep jamming and if ya can kick the habit youll sound a thousand times better.
