rock soloHey guys i'm back !
glad to see the site is back up i love the new layout ..! heres my take on that rock drum backing that was posted a week ago or so .. i posted it *just* before the site went down so i don't know who got to download it or not as i said last time the whole things one take improv (riff and all) so it's not very structured .. only thing i added was a clean guitar for a little more backing . theres some pretty shameless shredding in there and i go out of time a bit .. but it was just a bit of fun as you all know i'm usually pretty relaxed with my playing . . i just wanted to stretch out hehe hope you like ! Re: rock soloHey Stiglar you shred!
I like the “dirty” guitar, but can't get into the rythm guitar on the right side. As I listen to the song further I actually like the clean guitar as a break, but I feel that it doesn't work so well when the distorted guitar is playing. Does it make any sense? Bottom line, I like what you did with the rythm track. Sounds insane and frantic. I dig that! |

Re: rock soloI like the dirty rhythn in this song the best.
I'm with Canyon Carver. That clean guitat is just way too clean in comparison. However... Wowsers !!! Great stuff man. I'm gonna put my guitars down and pack them away for a while.... Really enjoyed liostening to this dude... |

Re: rock soloGood job, Stig.
It's hard to do extended instrumentals and not have them sound out-of-whack in places. Sometimes you have to "plan them" to death to avoid that, but I think you did well here. |

Re: rock solothanks everyone !
the clean guitar does sound a bit out of place .. i dunno i just wanted it to have some kind of backing to the solo and i suck at bass lol ... i dunno why but it always sounds terrible when i try and use bass . thanks again everyone ! more of my usual kinda stuff on the way instead of this shredding |
