Running With the PackThis is something I did in the studio, I personally don't think much of the tune. I was hired for a few hours and the guy wanted it Van Halenized as he put it. The cool thing is the quality. Attachment

Re: Running With the PackPretty cool Eric. I was totally listening to the guitar playing. Very nice.
![]() The only drawback is, there is a pretty big break in the middle of it. You might want to take a listen. |

Re: Running With the PackFirst and foremost, your own playing was great on this Eric - and you certainly gave them what they asked for.
That said, I'm wondering why they wanted you to "Van-Halenize" a tune only for them to play and sing the rest of the parts to make it sound like an Exile song. |

Re: Running With the PackThanks guys, lol @ Wolf's comment. I am with all the way dude, I just drove up, went into the studio and they played me the song. I was like I never met any of the musicians other than the singer but that tune was out there. I just came up with some riffs and they started recording, I made $100 tho

Re: Running With the PackEric,
I don' t like the song much either, but your work is nice. Definately Van Halenized. |

Re: Running With the PackJeez,
You definitely had your work cut out there. How do you take a country tune that sounds like Jumpin' Jack Flash, and Van Halenise it ? You did a great job though, your playing is excellent. It's just a shame that I don't really care for the song itself. But you definitely earned your money and gave them what they asked for... |
