Something in E minor
This is something I did to a backing track in E minor, this guy has some fun stuff to play to. Scott posted up the site in the backing track forum.

Re: Something in E minor
That bad eh? Oh well, first tune with my new axe. I have another one that I have been working on that I am going to record tonight, more of a worked up tune. I am having a blast with the songs on this guys site.

Re: Something in E minor
I like stuff in E Minor. I think it's probably my favorite key to play in.
LIke always, I enjoyed your playing, Eric. Thanx for sharing.

Re: Something in E minor
Thanks ebmm, it's my favorite key also because I don't always have to think about where I am going. Lately I have been working in other keys to get out of my comfort zone but I jump back from time to time just to have a little fun.

Know what you mean about the comfort zone...I've since found it in F# and G but G always makes me wanna do Ritchie Blackmore...wierd or what?

Re: Something in E minor
Nice since singing melody over the chords!
I like the pull-off section followed by the hammer-ons. Very articulate, and following the progression.
How many takes did you do to get there?

Re: Something in E minor
Thanks CC, quite a few actually. I played around with it for more than an hour before making my final take, I think I had better takes before it, I should have saved them all then took the best one.

Re: Something in E minor
Thanks guys, I am using a Guitar Port with the Plexi (I think a 68) patch for the ton on this one.
