Sunrise

New rough one. I haven't posted one for ages, so here goes.

Done all last night, with wife telling me to turn it down all the time.

Presented with mistakes, uneven recrding levels, bad timing, and complete note losses. i.e. warts and all !

But it's just to give me an idea of what I want to do with it.

Sunrise

Re: Sunrise

What? An upbeat, happy tune? WTF? And I though you were a righteous metalhead, a card-carrying ballbreaker... Shame on you, Mondola!

Alright, seriously, I think you're on to something good here. I can see your idea really well. It's a cool song, and I feel your playing is getting more confident since your last songs.
I'm sure your song will reach new level once you get a POD and have access to effects and a variety of tones to color the music.

Again, great work on the guitars, mate!

Re: Sunrise

mondola your showing heaps of potential here . .as Canyon said your heaps more confident than you used to be ...

i don't think you really need to do much volume changing etc sounded pretty cool through my speakers ... some good multitracking going on!

and it's a happy tune too ! .. i've always stood by my opinion that happy tunes are far harder to write on guitar than sad and angry ones !

Cheers for the feedback, wahwah...

The drumtrack is a bone of contention mate.

A certain webmaster () that I know told me that if you use any of the drum tracks from www.loopology.com with a cracked () version of Cool Edit Pro, then it would wipe the version of Cool Edit Pro off your system.

Foolishly, I assumed that this meant any new drum tracks downloaded from the site... as I had downloaded a truckload of them ages ago, but never used them. So, I double-click on one of the drum-track.exe files and the next thing I know, I'm informed that my version of Cool Edit Pro has been removed from my system because it has been "illegally unlocked" ().

I spent the rest of the night trying to get Cool Edit Pro back onto my system...

But yeah, I got it from www.loopology.com

Re: Sunrise

Hmmm...cryptic! Did you get it back without paying for it? And if so, how do I do it!?

Hey, Mondola, you have improved greatly. It sure is a unique view. As Stiglar says, it's hard to write a happy song.

Spitting out a tune obviously has to do with one's emotions and outlooks.

Having said that and after listening to your tracks, I think that it's safe to say that your friendliness here on the board is indeed genuine.

Re: Sunrise

This almost sounds like a Grateful Dead type of tune, it's got a nice hook to it. Glad to hear something new from you Mondola
