Two new songs

The first is some ****ery over a backing track entitled "Going Mental" - I was having a tough day

That one was already posted here once in the battle section but the battle turned into a mess when there wasn't enough votes the first day. Decided to post it with the new one I just now posted: "Kickin' it Easy".

This one takes a bit of a different direction from much of what I usually do. A lot of variations on a simple riff that I just liked the sound of with the bt I was chugging to so I decided to make a recording. I'm calling this one Funk...

Both are on my "Artist Page" (or will be very shortly - I am currently uploading the new one).

Any of my stuff is free to add your piece to if you want. I only have the raw tracks to these latest ones though...other mix tables got lost in the great hard drive crash of January 2006.

Both these have really nice production.... not just the backers but the guitar tone suits both perfectly. "Funk" has you playing nice and subtley and not overplaying it just adds to the whole funk "brew" with a little helping of chorus on the side. Beautiful.

Exactly what I was shooting for. Thanks for the listen.

I've been trying to add more actual "improvisation" to my jams instead of just ****ing out licks. I did a little of that in this one when I lost the groove...and I think it shows when that happened (kinda like a sore thumb )...but it's a move up from what I've done before with the exception maybe of "Birthday jam".
