I've spend some hours on your Unchained site and on your own site today. I was at my work, so I couldn't hear anything there.

Full of hope I listened now to this tune.

And as was said on the site, you didn't want to redo Classic Van Halen note for note, and that's indeed hearable.
But you cought the joy, energy, vibe, atmosphere very nice.

I like the refreshing singing of your singer! Not Roth but very refreshing for this! Great job.

Your playing is very nice and you filled in some parts very creative. Also the ending is very creative.

A little minor to me was the beginning of Panama. I thought you played it a little too staccato, IMHO.

I couldn't find any strange tuning things like you mentioned above. Too me it was very nice to hear this! [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]

Thanks for the comments. The ending is the same as Dave Lee Roth's band did it live. I still don't like the beginning...not powerful enough!

It's really good, really enjoyed it. You're right it's a bit out of tune at the start but it doesn't ruin it at all- we can't all have guitar techs!
I particularly like the sextuplet run after the 'Chuck Berry' opening bit to the solo and the tapped bent strings- they're really hard to pull off in tune.
Do you have any other stuff to post? I'd love to hear Mean Street- my fave VH track.
