Upbeat Tune

I wanted to record this over and clean up my playing, but I don't have time right now, and can't resist sharing this, so here it is.

Note: I realize the song clips too much. It didn't do it at home on my computer but it seems to have too much gain or bass.
Adjust your EQ accordingly...
Happy Sunday mp3

Feedback is welcome.

Re: Upbeat Tune

Cool bro! Your playing reminded me a bit of Ed's on those two tunes they did with Dave. Good job!

Re: Upbeat Tune

Thank you. I was sort of going for that vibe, but still wanted it to sound like me. I hope it achieves this.

I will be intoducing this song to our jam band tonight. We'll see where it goes from there. A friend of mine may drop by for vocals. That would be bitchin'

Re: Upbeat Tune

man it's funny cause little licks in that song just make me go EDDIE ... but just little flashes of it ...

cool tell me if the band picks it up .. i reckon you could put a cool vocal hook on top of that !

Re: Upbeat Tune

Aye, you can hear the Eddie influences.

Very nice tone and phrasing. I like the way that you seem to be playing really freely (even if it took you ages to come up with it).

It just sounds like you are just going everywhere, no restrictions.

Great tune, definitely has a Happy feel to it, bet you've got a right grin on your face playing it huh ?

Re: Upbeat Tune

Nice dude, you have a good groove going on there. Sort of reminds me of Little Guitars.

Re: Upbeat Tune

Cool tune, CC! I was holding off responding so I could throw a bass line on it, but as fate would have it "Time is NOT on my side!" Man, there are a lot of tunes to catch up on her.

You got lyric ideas for this?
