Banners

There have been a few questions so I thought I would let you guys know what the deal is with the banners on this site. First off none of them make any money, the only reason I have the Google ad at the bottom is so it will index this site better on their site, which it does quite well.

The VHForums banner at the bottom is a courtesy that I volunteered to put up, they have been very good to me over there, it's the least I can do. As for the banners in the Guitar Talk and Back Stage forums, they are complimentary for our members. If you hang out and post at this site and would like to be added to the rotation then please let me know.

I had to pull these for now guys, they are causing the forums they are in to be extremely slow. I will see if I can figure out why and fix it.

We are going to try this again for a little bit, on the footer of the site this time. If it's starts slowing down I will have to pull them again but so far so good.
