Right then. It sounds as if you are trying to upload directly to the site within your thread using the attachment feature? Is that correct? This is not a method I use but this is some advice from the mods here:
Attaching Files
I have enabled posting through the board again. When you post, on the bottom of the page make sure the I want to preview my post and/or attach a file is checked and then click Continue it will then take you to the next page where you can upload your file. Also the size limit for uploads is 9 megs. If you have trouble uploading, make sure your file doesn't have special characters in the name of it. You may also want to consider you firewall if you are still having trouble.
The method most people tend to use when posting albums or mp3's etc is to upload them to a file-sharing site, such as - Mediafire, Zshare, megaupload, sendspace or rapidshare etc.
You can upload anything to these site and then you will be given a sharing url. It's this you then use in your thread. Then people just click on it and download the content.
