Error : Post already exists...

Hi Eric,

I've had this error a couple of times on the site recently.

I'd go into a thread that I hadn't posted before. For example, a Happy Birthday thread.

I replied, something like, "Have a great one [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]"

Then I click on the OK button, and I'd get an error telling me that my post already exists. SO I changed the text to something else to find that my post would be submitted, and that there actually wasn't an already existing post.

Does this make any sense to you ? It's happened a couple of times, and like I say, I just reword what I have written and everything is OK, but I don't understand what trigger's the error in the first place.

That's because the text matches another post in that same thread, I have seen this happen to posts that are close but not exact also.
