Guitar Battle Additional Sections
I am considering expanding this into categories now that our new battle mod supports it. My first thoughts are Metal, Classic rock and Blues. Any other suggestions that you guys may have are welcome. Keep in mind that we want to anticipate that people will be interested and post in these different areas, ususally this stuff is sort of hit and miss that way.

How about a category for "Scary Carnival" Music, a la The Ulnarian?....we wouldn't want him to feel left out!

I think if you do that you will want an "other" category to get everything else. Otherwise people that do, say classical battles, won't know where to post.

eric im trying to bring other music that lies outside of shred to the battle section, ive done ballad , zz top boogie and even pink floyd. currently im waiting for a challenger for an organ driven B flat major boogie track , i fully believe in the diversification of the battle section , i think it keeps it fresh and interesting.

Heh, no need to do that. The musical portion of my brain has pretty much been fried after a 100 songs or so

I think you sohuld have covers,, and originals,,, seperated,, and i think you should make it where we dont have to ask for someone to find to battle with,, instead if you can,, set it up to make em open battles for anyone to just join if they want,, then the voting begins. just a thought.
