I probably have too much time on my hands today, but re: the pics of all the guitarists on the top of the page, I noticed that Lifeson and Geddy Lee are pictured. Not trying to discriminate because they are called bass guitars, but how about a crop & throw Angus up there? Or McGlaughlin, Allman, shit, the list goes....maybe a poll?

Your thoughts lads, and BTW, kickass site.

i felt a bit bummed that a nice early shot of malmstick wasnt in there. but someone took alot of time on it and it looks great so i doubt any changes will be made.

KC made that image and fit a lot of greats in there, the list goes on and on though so I think he made good choices. Geddy was a request from me along with Alex.

In all honesty, when i began working on the header bar (with Eric as content consultant), I tried very hard to be as democratic as possible (in line with the spirit of this site), and considered and collected images of a gazillion different guitarists. I also proposed the idea of starting a poll to help decide which guitarists would most accurately represent the fine peeps on this site. We decided that it would NEVER get done if we tried that, as there are just TOOOO many guitarists that people like. So we picked ones that were MOST talked about or who represented different STYLES of playing, as opposed to focusing on individual style. Perhaps with the new management, there may be room for a bit of a redesign for the guitarists collage, but we will see.
