Having problems downloading

I am having problems downloading from the Boots forums. I right click and Save Target As. It starts and then after a few seconds wants to save as HTML document.

I downloaded something from somewhere else to verify that it wasn't me or my computer.

Thanks!

Re: Having problems downloading

If it helps any the file type reads showflat.
save as type reads HTML document.

When I and everyone else for that matter downloads it should first prompt you to choice where (directory) you want to save the file

Try deleting your internet cache, go to this on the menu in Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet Options and click the Delete Files button. My guess is that your cache is full and IE likes to try to save the file as something the requires the smallest amount of room, it's notorious for that. Let me know if that works for you dude.

Okay, if you right click on the Attachment and choose Properties does the file type show as an MP3? Also, when you click on it does it play? One way around it for the time being is to let it play (download in your player) and then choose Save as right from your media player.
