If you stay logged in for too long (AND DO LOTS OF STUPID THINGS), the board screws up...
Hi, I logged in from work on Friday, submitted a few posts here and there.
As it was Friday, I took one look at my watch at 4 p.m., looked over to my bosses seat, which was empty, and promptly legged it out of the door, leaving myself still logged into this site. [img]images/smilies/icon_nono.gif[/img]
It stayed logged in over the weekend. [img]images/smilies/icon_nono.gif[/img] [img]images/smilies/icon_nono.gif[/img]
On Sunday night, I logged in from my home P.C. (forgetting I was still logged in at work [img]images/smilies/icon_nono.gif[/img]). I replied to a few threads, all working normally.
I successfully logged out of this site from my home P.C. last night.
This morning, I returned to the session that had been logged in since Friday from my work P.C. I selected the Main Index link to refresh the list.
I got the Menu with the Bootlegs Forum - Please Register option. i.e. the list that you usually get when you are not logged in. But I definitely was logged in.
However, just to make sure, I clicked on the Log In link, and was taken to the My Home page for me, mondola.
Whenever I viewed a forum, I couldn't create a new topic, or reply to another topic, even though I was logged in.
In the end, I closed the browser, opened up a new one, pointed it back at the site, logged back into the site, and everything was fine once again.
Probably error #104 : User Error, as I was doing things I shouldn't [img]images/smilies/icon_nono.gif[/img] , but I thought I'd let you know about it anyhow...
