MP3 player

I haven't checked to see if this board supports one but is there a plug in that would let us hear 'selected' mp3's whilst viewing. I am sure we tried this on my old board with some success. It may even get around the media player attachment problem - just an idea so don't shoot me

I found this - http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...threadid=71950 I don't know how good it is and given that it may eat up more bandwidth you may want to make it members only...

ericgtr is on a distinguished road
Way to dig Goport, I like that! I checked that mod out and though it's pretty cool you have to preset the play list manually (static) it won't dynamically grab songs or let you choose outside of the set list. That would mean it has to be maintained and I would never know what tunes to put in there because there are so many

Lol - I seem to remember Geordie wanted to become a mod - you could always make him the G101 DeeJay.

Seriously though, there must be some similar mods and if not, how about putting all the "mp3 of the month" winning songs in there? After all they have effectively been voted for and therefore they are the most popular songs. What do you reckon?

Update...
Ah - the only thing with embedding an mp3 player into the html code is security http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66614&highlight=mp3 - personally I don't know if this is a threat with this player but it is worth bearing in mind to prevent leeching.
