New - Shoutcast Server
I have installed our own shoutcast server, keep an eye out at the bottom of the site for it, when it's on it will display all the info automatically. The songs will be all of the artsists here chosen at random, with all the music we have on here the song selection will be tough but we will try and mix it up as best as we can.

BTW, what is being played? Is this just what is on artist pages or does it include stuff posted in the forums?

Look on the main page. Even if you don't listen, it tells you the last 5 songs as well as what is currently playing !

Eric, got a question for you - what about explicit lyrics? are they restricted from play? One more question - Is this staition only available from the G-101 page? I searched shoutcast to see if we are listed and had no luck finding us. And if not, even so- this is very cool! Thanks for adding raido!

I would rather keep out explicit lyrics so we can be comfortable saying anyone can freely listen to the radio since it's broadcasted outside of this site as well. If you go to shoutcast and do a search for "guitars101" it will show us

My question still stands. I'm not stupid; I can see that the last 5 songs are listed. But my question is where are they comming from.

One of my PC's at home, broadcasted through this server. I have been taking songs from the site and adding them as I go and have been taking requests also. Since I started two of these threads I will close this one up. Please continue this conversation here http://www.guitars101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29397
