Everything I choose has to many pixels?(size). Even if I resize or change the image I can't get it to work.

"The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 97.7 KB" is in small print at the bottom of the form you use for this purpose. Apparently your avatar is either to big in dimensions or file size.

Hi there,
Okay, which one are you trying to do ? Add an avatar (that will appear in every post you make) or add a picture that is only viewable in your profile ?
For the avatar that is viewable in every post, the first thing to remember is the image can only be 80 pixels by 80 pixels maximum. If it's too big, no matter how many times you try to post it, it will be rejected.
To resize (assuming you are using Microsoft Photo Editor) then:- open your picture in Microsfot Photo Editor
- Select Image -> Resize (Resize window opens up)
- Select Units -> Pixels from the drop down menu
- Set the width or height (which ever is the greater in value) to 80 and ensure the "allow distortion" box is unchecked
- Save the File to another name so you don't overwrite the original (File Save As)
Hope this helps. I will post details of how to do each method if you need them, but hopefully, this will be the problem !
Let me know...
