Question About "Search" Feature in "Bootleg--Other Bands" ForumMaybe I'm not using it properly, but often when I try to do a search using the "search this forum" button, stuff that I know is there doesn't show up. For instance, I just tried a search for "Rolling Stones", and got a response that there are no matches! WTF! There obviously are Stones posts there--I posted one myself. And other times, it only seems to list some of what's there. I'm used to searches that look for any words in the search engine, in terms of the results you get. But, this one doesn't seem to work that way. So, could someone please help me understand what's going on? As I said, it could be that I'm not using it properly. But, if so, I'm lost as to what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

Well, never mind. It looks like the problem's probably on my end. I'm not real computer literate, and I guess it shows sometimes.

Hey, sorry about the late reply.
I went to the "Bootlegs - Other Bands" forum and went to "Search this Forum" and typed in "Rolling Stones" and it seemed to work fine. Is this what you did when you had the problem, and are you still having it? |
