saying thank you is good

I like many download from the links but sometimes I leave the pc running and wander off to do other things and when I get back the download is complete and my connection has crashed or numerous other things have happened as they do in life. So until I return the next time my thanks go unsaid, but what bugs me is that I often cannot find the post to put the thanks on. So to all those who I forget please accept my thanks for your time and effort and I really will try to get back to the original posts to thank you personally.
