Site Slowdown

Today the site has been slow due to a Denial Of Service (DOS) attack on the server I am being hosted on. They are currently working on it and things should be back to normal sometime soon hopefully.

Re: Site Slowdown

Actually the MP3 and video files are from a different server entirely, they are slow but consistent

It's looking like they may have gotten this worked out.

Re: Site Slowdown

More DoS attacks today which is why this site has been barely usable. For those of you who may not know, a DoS (Denial Of Service) attack is when the routers of the host get's hammered by tens of thousands of hits per second. It is passed through a virus that sits in the background of the unsuspecting users infected computer and the virus hammeres the addresses of known switches and routers.

The virus also sends itself out to everyone in the infected PC's address book and so on... This can make an admins day very fucked up. I can't blame our host, the attack comes from the outside and they have to pratically re-network they whole system when it happens.
