Sorry guys. eBux had a lot of old, buggy code. It also had a security flaw, so at this point in time we can't bring it back.

You're welcome. I know there are some changes to adjust to which can be frustrating, but we're really looking forward to bringing some added functionality in place of those we had to cut.

We're actually working on the music aspect and bringing more functionality for members. There are a few projects in the works, so stay tuned.

Agreed. Unfortunately it was beyond our control due to the security flaw. It left the site open to be maliciously hacked, in which case much more damage could have been done. This was the best option given the circumstance and we apologize for the inconvenience.

lol...I went on the record extensively opposing adding the thanks button when it was
most recently re-introduced but I became accustomed to it and found it had some
practical utility. I don't really have a dog in this fight, although I had amassed a
respectable amount of 'thank you's, yet I do feel for the real superhero uploaders of the
music-sharing forums who deserve to display all the kudos received. We all know who
they are here today but who knows: down the road these posters may be seen as true
pioneers in changing the way music is transmitted and marketed. Big wheels are spinning
but this is a subject for another thread -

If it was a security issue that can't be easily fixed which has caused the recent change in
functions provided users...then clearly it has to go. We'll all have to get used to it.

We're looking at ways to bring several features back, but it may involve completely overhauling the code so it may take a few months. Hang in there, we're working on some things, I promise.
