Here's some pics of my new Jem7v. I went to the guitar store to try out some wah pedals and ended up buying this instead. I had never played one before, but I thought they might be overrated because of some of the reviews I had read. After playing this one I changed my mind though, this guitar fits me better then any other guitar I've ever played.

haha, that's a good analogy mondola. I know the salesman pretty well, so he did give me a good price on it, plus I sold my practice amp and about 7 pedals and apparently I have good credit for a college student
Your wah pedal story just reminded me of how I was smashing my head against the wall trying to pick between an Ibanez JEM7 and an Ibanez Joe Satriani guitar... Glad I got the JEM for the same reasons as you are
I haven't tried the satriani guitar but I've heard it's a killer guitar too, the Jackson soloist was fun to play as well, but I had to go with the Jem
Oh and SemiShred, I grew up with a single mother who dropped out of high school and worked as a waitress to support 4 kids, so I'm far from being rich. Try not to be so judgemental
