This guitar as mentioned was born a Les Paul Deluxe. No P-90's in that guy. It came with the mini humbuckers. They sucked and were replaced with a Dimarzio at the neck and Seymour Duncan PAF at the bridge. I played this guitar ALOT and wanted it to sound good so I did what I did to make it a great guitar. I don't actually care that it may be worth less than if it still had the little crappy humbuckers, I just wanted a player. It's an absolutely wonderful guitar....

NOTE: Since the above pictures taken over a year ago, it has been refitted with it's old origional ivory tuning pegs....

Dave Maniketti did the same thing to his LP Deluxe,and from what I can recall about those minibuckers, you did the right thing....
