My axesThese are most of my guitars. 1985 San Dimas Custom
Kelly #1439 neckthrough an Ibanez 7-string, DeArmond Pilot-Pro 5-string bass. I bought the Jackson brand new in '85. It' still the BEST guitar I've ever played! Sounds absolutely incredible. The Ibanez isn't bad but, I'd rather get one of the new "Prestige" 1527 models. The DeArmond bass is pretty nice for a relatively inexpensive guitar ($220)and it has active p/ups to! Rock On!! That's a nice recording setup you've got there and some nice guitars as well. I'm working on a little recording area in my home office but the junk keeps getting in the way. Thanks for the picture...it's got me motivated to finish setting up mine.

Vs-880?A Bro?
Killer setup there. VS-880? Roland........Thats what I use......Took a bit for me to figure out, but Im getting great results. Getting to the part in the user manual reading where you can place the sound anywhere you want....Like if you put headphones on and you want the guitar to sound like its coming from in front of you upper left hand corner.....Too much man.......gilbo ![]()

like the daughter is gonna have to sleep on the couch!!LOL! That pic is about 3yrs. old now--- I've bought a house and now have my own studio as well. I added a couple pieces of new gear since then too. Yeah, at the time I bought the 880EX I didn't want to get a computer with sound software (learning curve/cost) and still don't regret it. But, yeah, the sound thing you were talkin' about is the "RSS" I think. I haven't really used it but, it is very cool! I'll see if I can post a pic of my new room. I went the way of making and hanging curtains(sp?) on all four walls and the space you see between them is supposed to be filled in with that Auralex studio foam stuff. It'll look brutal when I'm done. Anywho if you want a run down of my gear I'll be glad to tell all. |
