Re: My gear (small)
How do you like your spider? I think it's a good amp for the price.
I use the bigger, Flextone II 2x12, but I've tried the Spider and think it's a bargain...

Re: My gear (small)
I bought a spider a year ago or so, ended up bringing it back though. It sounded great in the store, but after bringing it home & really putting it through it's paces I found it to not have the same "magic" i'd thought i heard in the store. Plus, it's horrible in a band situation. I took it back & went with the Peavey Transtube Bandit 112. It not only kicks ass in the livingroom, but it holds it's own in a jam situation. I still use my 5150 live though

Re: My gear (small)
Spider gives me a very nice tone on the blues, crunch and recto settings, The amp comes with preset affects which is very helpful, the clean on this amp is crystal clear, its a very flexible amp, you can go from sparkly clean tones, turn the knob and you have mega distortion and gain especially with the pickups i have . Hopefully when i get a better mic ill put some stuff up.

Re: My gear (small)
Nice Rig, Valmar! I haven't tried out the Line6 Spider, but if it's anything like some of their other products - it's gotta be smokin'. Where did you get your MXR flanger?

[/ QUOTE ] A guy I know sold it to me. He lost his flanger and bought another one,7 years later he finds his and now has 2 flangers. So i bought it off of him for $50
