Dude, don't know if you noticed it or not, but there's a HUGE green plant rising up behind the chair to EAT YOUR RG!!!!! *runs to the hills*
Seriously though...are you going to tell us what specific Duncan PUPs that you used? I knew you wouldn't swap out the pups in your Washburn, as you don't want to hurt the resale value of the "Joey Dahlia Signature Model"
i'm trying to diagnose the electronics problem... i can't get sound when going through all the stuff in the electronics cavity, but i can with each pickup individually straight to the jack... really annoying. i have a feeling its the cutoff switch near the bridge pickup... gonna keep messing with it, hopefully i figure it out...
nice one Ely. is that neck scallopped ? i think i recall you saying you had a scallopped neck on one of your guitars. may have been someone else though. looks nice.

yeah its scalloped... after luthiery school my plan for this guitar is to remove the fretboard and cheap plastic binding and replace with ebony board and much nicer binding, as well as better inlays, and still scallop it 12-24...
how long did it take you to adapt to the scallopped frets ? . i fancy scallopping my strat cause i really need more grip. any idea how much it would cost to get done professionally ?

no clue on cost, it didn't take long to adjust, but then again i was running 11-52's on it when i was playing it long ago, 10-60's now... i've tried 8's on it haha they were like rubber bands, too funny...
