The effects loop on the back of the Mesa.

Send goes to out through the effects rack, the last unit is a noise gate which splits the signal in two. One signal goes back to the effects loop (return) and the other goes straight into the front of my second amp, a Marshall JMP Super Lead 100 watt head (which I run clean, no distortion). I channel switch with with Mesa for clean and dirty tone. The Marshall sounds SWEET with the Mesa dirty signal running through it.

The Marshall has no effects loop or channel swicthing capabilty so this works best for me.
